We are really excited about both of these new departures and we can't wait to run these tours.

Andalusia Walk: May 11
A riot of wildflowers and jagged snow-capped mountains provide a colourful backdrop to this spring Andalusia walking tour. Flamenco dancers and gypsy music add spice, while the majestic Alhambra Palace and the twisting streets of Granada’s Moorish Albaicin neighbourhood provide old-world charm. Dordogne Walk: May 20 (Monday departure)
Delve into a world of prehistoric cave paintings, Medieval intrigues, and French culinary delicacies during our Dordogne Walk. Our tour takes you through a region rich in both natural beauty and historic treasures. You will walk between ancient walled villages, past proud chateaux and into charming Renaissance towns whose cobblestone streets and gabled houses transport you back several centuries. Amalfi & Capri Walk: June 8
Vibrant Naples, fascinating Pompeii and romantic Ravello feature in this wonderful walking tour along Italy’s most spectacular coastline. Corsica Walk: June 8
Corsica’s sandy beaches, rocky coves, dramatic rock formations, and crystal-clear mountain pools are all accessible on foot, thanks to a wonderful network of walking trails. We explore the northwest part of this beautiful Mediterranean island, introducing you to country, city, and coastline. Along the way you’ll enjoy the island’s award-winning wines, regional cuisine, and charming small inns. Republic of Georgia Tusheti National Park: Sept 4
Trekking in the Mountains of Poetry, Tusheti National Park: the Caucasus is a world unto itself. It is home to mountain clans of ancient peoples who have lived for millennia amongst its soaring peaks and verdant alpine meadows. You'll find a Eurasian mosaic of cultures where a deep and genuine tradition of hospitality still resides. Greece Meteora & Zagori: Sept 12 (NEW TOUR)
Come and explore authentic Greece with us as we take you into the rugged north. We pick you up from Athens and take you to dramatic Meteora, whose medieval monasteries sit miraculously atop narrow limestone perches. Next we take you into the Zagori region, a hiker’s paradise where unspoilt stone villages, impressive canyons, and pristine rivers are linked by an ancient web of spectacular trails. Tuscany Walk Val d’Orcia & Maremma: Sept 14
Dramatic landscapes, fascinating history, and delightfully authentic villages feature in this off-the-beaten-track tour of the “other” Tuscany. Begin in the striking town of Orvieto, an ancient Etruscan fortress city, walk to the steep crater rim of Lake Bolsena, and hike the mysterious “Vie Cave” carved from the tufa rock by the Etruscans. Enjoy two nights at a family-run farm stay where we cook with the owners, then transfer to the quintessential landscapes of the UNESCO classed “Val d’Orcia.” The wine towns of Montepulciano and Montalcino each host us for two nights. Corsica & Sardinia "combo" Walk: Sept 15 - 29 (two week tour)
On our Corsica and Sardinia tour you will experience the natural beauty and cultural/culinary splendours of two of the Mediterranean’s most spectacular islands. Only 11 kms of azure seas separate them, but they are completely different, both geographically and culturally. We begin in French Corsica, whose rugged mountains, variegated coastline, and hilltop villages create a dramatic backdrop to our daily hikes. We then cross the Straits of Bonifacio to Italian Sardinia, where you will hike sensational gorges, visit mysterious 3,000-year-old Neoliothic structures, and experience beautiful beaches and crystal-clear water. Book the “combo” tour and save €300 per person on the price of the two tours. Claire leads Corsica and Marco looks after Sardinia.

Sardinia Walk: Sept 22
You will experience glorious coastal walks, breathtaking gorges, and crystal blue water. Our walks take you to prehistoric petroglyphs, massive “Nuraghi” stone towers, Medieval churches, Spanish defensive towers, and the bustling port cities of Olbia and Alghero. The cuisine is a creative blend of fresh seafood and hearty meat dishes using local ingredients, paired with the island’s excellent Cannonau and Vermentino wines. Marco and possibly Brett guide this fabulous Mediterranean tour. This makes up the second week of our "combo" tour listed above.
Piedmont Walk: Sept 21 (NEW TOUR)
Hike through a delicious culinary tapestry in beautiful Piedmont, the elegant heartland of one of Italy’s most celebrated wine-growing regions. Stay in charming inns and B&Bs amongst the rolling vine-clad hills as well as in graceful towns and villages. Our trails lead you through the Langhe and Roero regions, home to the prestigious wines of Barolo and Barbaresco. We also indulge in the culinary arts as we visit a traditional cheese producer, do a cooking class, and even hunt for truffles with a truffle dog. The walks are rated “easy to moderate” to accommodate every traveller who enjoys walking. Francesca looks after you on this exciting new tour. Only 4 places remain.
How about a Bike Tour!
Our easiest bike tour is departing July 19: Innsbruck to Verona Bike (Friday departure)
It is practically all downhill! Our Innsbruck to Verona trip has been designed to bring you the best of northern Italy without the gruelling pedalling of a mountain tour. Thanks to an ingenious series of bike paths and trails, you can cycle easily and scenically from town to town, past orchards and vineyards, to the shores of Lake Garda and on to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Verona. We begin in the elegant ski-town of Innsbruck and then shuttle into the countryside to start our ride. The tour finishes in Verona, famous for its Roman amphitheatre and picturesque medieval streets. Our tour combines cycling with a hearty dose of history, culture, and of course delicious food and wine. It’s a great way to explore one of the most beautiful regions of Europe! Claire and Melissa are guiding this tour.
Exotic Montenegro and Croatia Bike tour departing June 19:
Cycle along the glittering Mediterranean, from village to castle to beach, on our exotic Montenegro and Croatia bike tour). Begin in the Montenegrin capital of Podgorica and then cycle northwest along the coast to finish with two nights on historic Korçula island, Croatia. Our first stop is the imposing fortress-town of Kotor, located along the shores of stunning Kotor Bay. We continue up the coast to the charming port town of Cavtat, then dip into Bosnia to ride on a bike path built over an old Austrian railway line. Drop down into Croatia again and spend two nights in medieval Mali Ston, whose 600-year-old defensive walls still guard the once strategic seaside town. After each day’s ride enjoy delicious local cuisine complemented by the rich red wines grown on the Pelješac Peninsula. This tour offers up the perfect blend of scenic riding, delicious food, and fascinating history, with the added bonus of finishing the day off with a swim in the warm waters of the Adriatic. The trip is fully van-supported so you can ride as much or as little as you like.
